Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to book in advance?

We welcome last minute reservations, however, to not disappoint; we recommend that you book in advance to reserve your date. Booking online is easy; please call if you have any questions.

What should I wear?

We like to go barefoot aboard, however if you’d be more comfortable wearing shoes please make sure that they have rubber soles and fit securely. Keep in mind that the air temperature over the water is often 10 degrees cooler than on land. Depending on the weather, dress appropriately. I recommend wearing layers; shorts are fine just bring along a sweatshirt and possibly a jacket. Don’t forget your swimsuits and towels. There is ample room below to stow your gear. We do have blankets for you, if you need.

Are pets allowed on board?

For the safety and comfort of all our guests and crew, our four legged loved ones are not permitted aboard the vessel. Please make arrangements in advance for their protection and well being. Here are a few local boarding facilities.

Do you provide food and refreshments?

We provide bottled water, and we invite you to bring food and drinks. Small tote coolers work well. We will also provide unbreakable cups and dishes.
Keep it simple, finger food and snacks, beer, wine, sparkling water, box juice.

What about the weather?

We are constantly monitoring the weather. We wait to make weather decisions until about two hours before your scheduled excursion.

If the weather, as determined by the Captains discretion and experience, poses threatening conditions of fog, lightning, or excessively high winds, we may have to reschedule your excursion. If we are unable to reschedule your excursion, we will refund your money. If we are underway and the Captain returns to port due to threatening weather conditions, you will be refunded for the time not used or we can offer you a discount on a future excursion.

What is your cancellation policy?

If your plans change we will offer you a full refund if you cancel 72 hours in advance of your scheduled excursion. Or we can reschedule to meet your needs based on our availability.

Should I tip the Captain?

Tipping is customary, and should be based on your satisfaction with the service you receive. A 20% gratuity is average if you are happy with the excursion.
